We consider ourselves artisans who utilize a variety of materials including concrete, steel, exotic woods, and a variety of other elements to design hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind creations. We work with home builders, architects, interior designers, homeowners, and commercial contractors to create artistic designs that inspire.

We have studied and received training from among the best in the industry, including Buddy Rhodes, Fu Tung Cheng, and Jeff Girard with the Concrete Countertop Institute (CCI). SURFACE Studios is a certified CHENG Center of Excellence and is the designated training center for the Midwest.

In 2008, SURFACE Studios was honored at The World of Concrete in Las Vegas when we received two awards for our artistic creations. Our work has been featured in numerous publications and continues to be recognized throughout the industry.

Our studio is located in a 25,000 square foot facility in Des Moines, Iowa. We have a staff of creative professionals prepared to handle any size project. From a small custom counter job to the largest corporate project, SURFACE Studios has the passion and know-how to make your vision a reality.
